Privacy & Personal Data Protection (PDPA) Notice

Ming Hwee Employment Agency (MOM Licence 12C6072) (“Ming Hwee”, “we”, “us”) is committed to safeguarding your personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This notice explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal data.

1. Personal data we collect

When you enquire, register your interest, or engage our services, we may collect your name, contact details (phone, WhatsApp, email), household information (family composition, residence type, care and language needs) and preferences relevant to matching a domestic helper.

2. Purposes of collection, use & disclosure

We collect, use and disclose your personal data to: respond to your enquiry; assess your needs and recommend or match suitable helpers; prepare quotations; process Ministry of Manpower (MOM) work-permit and related applications; arrange insurance, medical examinations and the Settling-In Programme; provide post-placement support; and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Consent & withdrawal

By submitting your details, you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes above. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer; withdrawal may limit our ability to provide services to you.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We disclose your personal data only as necessary for the purposes above — for example to MOM and government agencies, candidate helpers and our overseas recruitment partners, insurers, medical providers and training centres, and our service providers under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Do Not Call (DNC) Registry

Where required, we will check the DNC Registry before sending marketing or telemarketing messages to your Singapore telephone number, unless you have given clear and unambiguous consent or are an existing customer with an ongoing relationship.

6. Protection & retention

We make reasonable security arrangements to protect your personal data against unauthorised access or disclosure, and we retain it only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above or as required by law.

7. Access & correction

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal data, or ask about how we handle it, by contacting our Data Protection Officer.
